Today’s horticulture industry has seen a considerable increase in the demand for more food production from greenhouse crops per square meter than ever before. Further, the heightened demand for a high quality, sustainable and reliable growing substrate that meets the demands of growers and plants alike, has increased the market’s demand for coconut coir.
Coco fibers are an ideal organic base for all vegetation; it's a natural, renewable resource that grows abundantly in tropical climates and is 100% biodegradable, unlike the common media options of the past. The external layer of the coconut, or husk is milled into ropes, door mats and brooms and the coco waste is ideally reusable as a plant medium.
Coco fibers are a multi-faceted soil conditioner, composed of millions of capillary micro sponges that offer increased water holding capacity while still maintaining the crucial 30% aeration a plants root system requires. Coco peat is a homogenous material that can be easily and safely recycled back into the environment to improve the soil conditions thereby reducing the cost of expensive disposal practices that also harm our environment.

Coir, also known as coconut fibre, is a product extracted from inner layer of coconut husks. 100% natural and eco-friendly, it is a completely biodegradable and renewable resource. Ideal mattress fibre or mixed fibre is mainly used in the bedding and upholstery industry.
Yenu Coir Mattress Fibre/ Mixed Fibre has less than 18% moisture impurities and dust, and products can be customized to cater to the varying needs of our valued customers.
Bristle Fibre is the thickest and the most strongest of the coir fibre varieties. Stiff and straight, these long strands of Fibre are available in 1-Tie Fibre and in 2-Tie and 3-Tie based on the length of strands and the general condition of Fibres and client requirements.
Bristle Fibre is mainly used in the Brush/Broom and Tawashi Industry, Production of Coir Twine, Potting Mixes/Growing Media, Manufactureofspecial Filters.

Coir geotextile is a type of natural fiber geotextile made from coconut husks. The husks are processed to extract the coir fiber, which is then woven or needle-punched into a fabric. Coir geotextiles are highly useful for erosion control and soil stabilization applications due to their high tensile strength, biodegradability, and ability to retain moisture. They are also commonly used in landscaping, agriculture, and horticulture.
Garden twine is a type of yarn that is made from the fibers of coconut husks. These fibers are extracted from the coconut husks and are then spun into yarn using traditional spinning techniques. Garden twine is known for its strength, durability, and resistance to water and abrasion, making it a popular choice for a wide range of applications including for all gardening and household applications, fence making and pot hanging. It is also used in agriculture and horticulture as a natural and eco-friendly substitute for synthetic fibers.
The bricks are made from ground coir and compressed into a brick form for easier transport and shipping. As a solid brick, coco coir must be hydrated to achieve the soft, fluffy soil-like mixture. Once rehydrated, these make a perfect medium for worm composting, or vermiculture.
Yenu Coir Coco Peat products are systematically manufactured, by separating coir waste from coir fibre and then washed, dried, screened, and graded before being processed into coir peat products to meet client specifications.
The most popular form of product in our portfolio is the 5kg coir peat block, which when saturated with water provides approximately 80 litres of coco peat. Ideal to be used in agriculture, greenhouses, potting soil industry and pet bedding.
A type of gardening or horticultural material made from grinding coconut husk into small pieces and then compressing them into blocks of various sizes. They have excellent water retention properties, provide good aeration to roots, and can be reused for several crops. Coco chips block is an environmentally friendly product which does not contain any harmful chemicals.
These are made up of 100% coco chips compressing them to hard bricks. They have a high moisture retention capacity and the perfect neutral pH balance. They can commonly use as a potting medium for Orchids and Anthuriums and to create a soil-less potting mix.
Available in sizes from 30 cm to 40 cm, These Coco poles are supporting poles designed for potted plant creepers for in-door as well as out-door gardens. The high moisture retention capacity of the pole enables the roots of the plant to grip the natural organic mattress of coir fibre.
Coco-coir pots are made up of the coconut hull that is derived from the fibrous body between the husk and the coconut. Coir Pots are Eco friendly, 100% biodegradable, natural and organic. These pots are ideal for root aeration, and break down naturally in the soil, which minimizes root disturbance at the time of planting. Typically used for faster cultivation, an excellent root system and re-establishment without any shock from transplanting, these pots are available in various sizes to suit any requirement.
